Disclosure Teases New Music, Announces Album Name And Release Date

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here, and Disclosure has revealed the release date and title for their second album. After giving the world “Bang That,” a club ready anthem that veered more towards a dance-worthy B-Side, Disclosure then announced the first official single from their second album. This went by the name “Holding On,” and featured legendary vocalist Gregory Porter.

Now we finally have a name, and it’s CARACAL.  The release will be dropping on September 25th via PMR/Island Records, and will also feature collaborations with Kwabs and Nao. You can pre-order the album starting tomorrow via their official website, and you watch a short trailer than features a 30-second clip of new music featuring NYC group Lion Babe below.

As Howard Lawrence explains, the album title is inspired by “An incredible cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year. I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too.”
