There is a beautiful Venezuelan/Colombian oral tradition, which also permeated the musical culture of Valle del Sinu in Colombia, and is “The singing of washerwomen (Canto de las Lavanderas)”. A work song whose origin is located in the XIX and early XX. Women practiced when they went to the river to wash clothes. That was the concept under which the new B-Liv´s single was created: “Junto al Rio”, which uses precisely the voices of the “Lavanderas” and which produced exclusively for Arenas Recordings of Venezuela.
Will be out on July28th / Traxsource Exclusive.
