Behringer has doubled down on its strategy of cloning classic synthesizers and drum machines.
Update: Behringer took to their Facebook page early Friday morning to state that the list of new products was an “unfortunate error” due to a “website glitch,” and that the listings do “not imply any availability at this time or even definitive evidence that we intend to officially develop or deliver these products in the future.”
As reported by Synthtopia, the manufacturer’s website has been updated with specs on upcoming versions of the EDP Wasp, ARP 2600, Korg MS-20, EMS Synthi, Korg MS-20 and Roland SH-101, each with modified names. FACT adds that the company will also offer versions of the Roland TR-808 and TR-909 as well as the Linndrumm and Oberheim DMX.
