Sex, drugs and debauchery: Studio 54 was infamous for it all.
While the nightclub – whose regulars included Andy Warhol, Liza Minnelli, Mick Jagger, Grace Jones, and many more – has been the subject of various documentaries, Matt Tyrnauer (Valentino: The Last Emperor, Citizen Jane: Battle for the City) hopes to tell the real story behind the club in his upcoming film.
Simply titled Studio 54, the film features new and archived interviews with founders Ian Schrager and Steve Rubell, along with those who played the club, such as Nile Rogers.
The Independent can exclusively reveal the first trailer for the documentary, featuring some famous talking heads along with footage from the documentary. Watch above.
