Sean Finn and Lotus create a funk-fuelled feel with a powerful remix for The Pointer Sisters. Listening to the Nu-Disco edit version of “Automatic” is a hallucinatory ride to the retro atmosphere of the ’80s.

Overall, you can expect a significant rework, which keeps the fire burning and the passion flowing on the dance floor. Without a doubt, new pounding rhythms confer a 180-degree spin on the original in the right direction.

Sean Finn is not new to revamping classics from the golden era of Disco. As a matter of fact, he has reinvented other hits for Sisters Sledge and Nile Rodgers.

With infectious kick drum patterns, I love how Sean Finn ups the intensity of “Automatic,” putting The Pointer Sisters back on the musical map while earning the admiration of a younger audience in 2022.

BIP Records’ catalog is indeed a box of surprises. I must admit this is one of my favorite tracks of the summer, and it’s set to be a huge club banger too.
